Overview
A deciduous plant that has small flowers over Summer. There is one in the backyard that is well established and a smaller one in the frontyard next to the Cherry Blossom (Sakura).

Care Instructions
Keep ground moist, but well-drained.
Prune back annually in early Spring to within a few buds of deadwood. Deadhead in Summer regularly after flowering.
Plant History
Came with house and hasn’t had any work performed prior to 2025 except for a light pruning in mid-2024.
Personal Musings
I suspect he would prefer a bit more sun that he currently receives. There haven’t been dense eruptions of flowers.
