Mountain Devil
Lambertia formosa
Page last updated: Mar 12th, 2024
Overview
Mountain devils were planted where the agapanthus used to be under the pine tree.
Care Instructions
When larger these may be pruned after flowering to encourage a bushy habit. No actions taken at their current size. ## Plant History
Planted a pair of these in Autumn 2024 with the Shagpile. One was moved to the backyard in more sun after he failed to properly settle.
Personal Musings
Mountain devils are quintessential Blackheath. They cover the clifftops in Summer with their slightly spiky leaves and small, pink flowers.
