Overview

A weed with striking striped leaves growing from a central clump. It has fleshy, wet roots that are oddly juicy. Also called ribbon grass.

Care Instructions

Dig up and remove making sure to get all tubers.

Plant History

Seen in a corner. Removed multiple from a bunch in Jan 2025 after I confirmed these were a weed.

Personal Musings

I was unsure if there were a weed at first. They were kind of weird, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a bit before removing them. For some reason, all the weird weeds are South African.
