Overview

Unclear what specific potato type this is. These have never tried to be eaten. There are a lot of these specifically in and around the planter beds. Without exaggerating I removed hundreds from the planter beds when we moved in.

Personal Musings

Apparently the previous owner used to just throw discarded chopped up bits of potato into the backyard. It seems this is all the love and care a potato needs to multiply and grow for perpetuity.

I swear I have seen possums munching on these leaves in the night. It’s like they don’t even know there is a spud underneath them. They get their little possum hands out and nibble away on the leaves. It is pretty cute.
