Doesn’t respond well to pruning. If pruning is needed to reshape, this should be done in Spring to avoid issues as much as possible.

Plant History

Purchased from Blackheath nursery and planted in Spring 2023. No flowers over his first summer.

Tip pruned in Autumn 2024 and responded well.

Personal Musings

I am really proud of this plant. He has done such a good job growing over his first few months and really become nice and bushy. The taller he gets, the more he is able to soak up a bit more afternoon sun over the neighbours fence as well.
