Care Instructions

The ground is mulched around it annually to keep down the competition.

Plant History

Purchased in November 2023 from Blue Mountains Conservation Society at the Blackheath markets.

Personal Musings

The location it was planted doesn’t have as much sun as I suspect this tree would like. He continues to grow, but not at a cracking pace. This tree was originally purchased to backfill another tree of a few metres that fell over in a storm. Ultimately, I foresee this tree possibly growing larger and replacing the Japanese maple in front of the balcony to give the house a bit more of a buffer from that.
